Refreshing Watermelon Smoothie
Sit back and relax with this refreshing fruit smoothie recipe. Cold flavors like cucumber, watermelon, and mint combine to make a healthy drink that will make you feel like you’re at the spa, reminiscent of a whole water. In addition, this recipe, which you can apply while dieting, will both help you stay full and support your vitamin intake.
Materials
-1 cup chopped watermelon
-½ cup chopped peeled cucumber
-6 ice cubes
- Squeeze lemon juice
-2 teaspoons agave nectar (optional)
-1 tablespoon of mint leaves for garnish
Fabrication
Blend watermelon, cucumber, ice cubes, lemon juice and agave (if using) in a blender. Puree until smooth. Garnish with mint if desired. Because of the natural sugar taste of watermelon, you may not use additional sweeteners. If the sugar is low for you, you can sweeten it with honey, molasses and agave.
