Jajangmyeon – Black Bean Noodles Recipe

For Jajangmyeon (Black Bean Noodles) Materials
150 grams of chicken or lamb
1 zucchini
1 potato
1 pack of jajang sauce
1 onion
1 glass of water
1 pack of noodles/spaghetti
2 tablespoons of oil
To thicken the sauce:
Half a teaspoon of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of wheat starch
1 teaspoon of water
How To Make Jajangmyeon (Black Bean Noodles)
First, peel the potatoes, onions and zucchini. Then wash and cut into small cubes.
Add oil to a wok pan or Teflon pan and heat it. When the oil is hot, add the chicken lardon.
Stir fry the chicken. When it gets a crispy consistency, add the potatoes and fry for 1 more minute.
Then add the onions and zucchini and continue mixing.
Add half of the jajang sauce over the vegetables. Then add 1 glass of water and cook for 10 minutes by closing the lid.
For the sauce; Mix granulated sugar, starch and water in a bowl.
After 10 minutes, mix the vegetables by transferring them into the sauce.
After boiling for a few more minutes, turn off the heat.
Boil the pasta or noddle in another pot. After the pasta is cooked, drain it and transfer it to the serving plate.
