For Hotteok (Korean Pancake) Materials
150 g flour
1 pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of dry yeast
125 ml of warm milk
For inside:
50 g brown sugar
1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons of chopped nuts (walnuts, peanuts, sunflower seeds…)
How To Make Hotteok (Korean Pancake)
The flour is sifted, salt, sugar, yeast, milk are added. The dough is prepared.
It is closed with a stretch. It is kept in a warm place until it doubles (about 1 hour).
When the dough rises, it is pressed and the gas is removed, and it is rested for another 20 minutes, covered.
When the dough is ready, the hands are lightly oiled so that it does not stick, and it is divided into 6 parts.
The dough is opened slightly by hand, a spoonful of stuffing is placed in the middle, and it is closed. It spreads by pressing lightly.
It is cooked in a heated pan with a little oil by turning it on both sides: One side is cooked for 30 seconds, turned over, pressed lightly, cooked for 1 minute. It is turned again.
The cover is closed. Cook for about 1 minute until the sugar mixture in it melts. Enjoy your meal.
