Easy Salmon Meatballs Recipe
Salmon Meatballs
We can keep our body fit with a balanced diet. Today, I chose salmon, which is very rich in Omega3 for you. This time, I made the meatballs, different from what I always do. Let’s see if you like and try it?
I would be very happy if they shared it with me.
Salmon Meatballs Ingredients :
-400 g salmon fillet, boneless
-2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into large circles
-1 level teaspoon of salt (we will use it as 1/2+1/2)
-1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
-1/2 teaspoon of granulated sugar
-1/2 teaspoon “Herbs de provence” (a spice mix you can find in ready-made packages in the market)
-1 handful of parsley, finely chopped
-1 small red onion, diced for food (you can also use 1-2 fresh spring onions)
-1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
-1 egg
-corn flour and sunflower oil for frying
How to Make Salmon Meatballs
You start by steaming salmon and potatoes together. I use a steaming apparatus that sits on the rim of the pot and resembles a strainer.
-You cook with the mouth closed for 20-25 minutes, by checking whether the potatoes are cooked or not, and steam them.
-You take the salmon and potatoes in a separate bowl and mash them together with the help of a fork. You add spices, egg and onion into it and mix.
Lastly, you add the parsley and mix it.
You cover this mixture with cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
After taking it out of the cupboard, you break off walnut-sized pieces and shape the meatballs in your hand.
-Place the cornmeal on a flat plate and heat the oil.
You dip the meatballs in cornmeal and cook them until both sides are browned.
-I added lemon, some mustard and pickles. If you grease the boiled corn with a little butter, grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, you will have a nice accompaniment to this meatball.
