Cauliflower Pizza Recipe

If you, like me, want to get in shape because it’s summer but can’t stop eating delicious things, this recipe is for us! We make a very practical pizza-based dough from cauliflower that never falls apart, the rest is entirely up to your taste and taste. Using the ingredients and sauces you want, you will be able to eat your favorite pizza without guilt. If you haven’t tried such a vegetable-based pizza before, I definitely recommend this recipe. Cauliflower Pizza Recipe

Materials

330 g (3 cups) of grated raw cauliflower

1 large egg

1/2 teaspoon of salt

100 g grated old cheddar

For the above:

Pizza sauce (I used a ready-made jar of tomato and basil pasta sauce, it looks great)

Mozzarella cheese

The vegetable or deli you want

Note: For 1 piece of 25 cm pizza – cup scale 200 ml

Fabrication

Remove and grate -1 pieces of cauliflower stems, leave slightly lumpy and pass through the rondo.

Take 3 cups of grated cauliflower (you can portion the rest and throw it in the freezer for later use) in a pan, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and soften for 10 minutes on the lowest heat.

-Cover your half-cooked cauliflower for another 10 minutes and let it brew with the lid closed, so it will cool a little.

Divide your cauliflower into 2 or 3 pieces, squeeze all the water with the help of a cheesecloth and strain. At first it will seem like it has no water but as you squeeze it, you will see that it comes out a lot 🙂

Get a mixture by taking your doughy cauliflower into a loan, adding 100 grams of grated old cheddar (parmesan is also important, it is important to have hard cheese) and 1 large room temperature egg to get a mixture.

On a flat metal tray (you can use the reverse of the baking tray), spread a greaseproof paper and spread your pizza dough in a circular shape of 25 cm in diameter, 4-5 mm thick.

  • Bake in the middle shelf of the preheated 220 degrees fanless oven for 20-22 minutes until it gets color from the sides.

-Take the pre-baked pizza base out of the oven, add the pizza sauce and additional ingredients you want, and cook for another 15 minutes.

-You can slice it as soon as you take it out of the oven and serve it, bon appetit!
